Inclement Weather Emergency Support

Alton, NH — The Town of Alton reminds residents that emergency assistance is available during periods of inclement or severe weather for individuals and families in need of immediate support.

Residents experiencing weather-related emergencies—including unsafe conditions, lack of shelter, or other urgent situations—are urged to contact either the Alton Police Department or the Alton Fire Department for assistance. Both departments are prepared to respond and coordinate appropriate emergency services to help ensure public safety.

The Town encourages residents to check on vulnerable neighbors, including the elderly, individuals with disabilities, and those without adequate heating or shelter, and to seek help promptly when conditions become dangerous.
